....and five turn up in one game. The Wasps welcomed another side that had struggled thus far in the first couple of weeks of the season in F.C. Tredegar. The hosts made a quick start and were on the front foot from the opening exchanges, finally getting their just reward when a clever through ball was delicates lifted past the advancing keeper by Jace Williams. The visitors eventually got a foot hold in the game as both teams battled for the remainder of the half. The second half though saw the Wasps take control; Jamie Laurent got his first goal for the club with a delightful curled finish from the edge of the area, soon followed by another nice finish by Matthew Edward. Williams got his second, a tap in after some slick passing carved open the Tredegar defence. Edward's second rounded off the scoring, and was a big step up from the missed chances of the precious weeks.

The side will look to continue in this vein on Tuesday night, as they travel to Abertillery Excelsiors, before the second team kick off their season with a trip to Crickhowell on Wednesday.
