Clydach Wasps v Lliswerry
The Wasps will be looking to make it a magnificent seven this Saturday as they entertain Lliswerry. It won't be easy, as a number of players being unavailable will make for a changed side. Kristian Lewis returns from injury, but the loss of Roddy Arnold, Colin Evans, Marc Taylor and others will test the squads resources. These are the types of weekends that test potential title candidates, and those remaining will be looking to pick up another three valuable points. Lliswerry were promoted last season as Second Division runners up, and have made a solid start to First Division life; last week seeing them pick up a 3-2 win at home to Coed Eva.

Goytre v Clydach Wasps A
The Second team visit Plough Road as last two 100% records in the Gwent Central First Division go head to head. With selection problems hitting the whole club, the A team are also missing vice captain Phil Odowda, Jordan Powell and James Powell. Kurt Jones should return between the posts though, so the team will still travel in good spirits after their week off last Saturday. Their opponents picked up a 5-1 away victory over Cwmffrwdoer, a result that sees them sit behind us only on goal difference. An early six pointer looms.

Trevethin B v Clydach Wasps B
The Third team travel to Pontypool to face the team they eliminated from the Open Cup last weekend. A poor performance aside, the Wasps travel confident of picking up three points to keep them close to Prescoed in the league. The Ruffets ground is never an easy place to visit though, and the home side will be looking to gain revenge for last weeks result.
