Clydach Wasps v Hay St Mary's

The next round of the FAW Trophy sees a familiar face return to the Rec, as former Wasp Chris Baynton brings his Mid Wales League charges for an eagerly awaited game. After last weeks enforced break the firsts will be looking to carry on from the big victory over RTB's. There should be the same squad available for use, plus the probable return of midfielder Steve Davies. Hay have so far accounted for FC Brunswick, Nelson Cavaliers and Presteigne St Andrews on their cup run, and Chris will surelly be looking to get one over the team he helped into the Gwent County League. The teams met in a friendly way back in July, though a lot has changed since a makeshift Wasps team came away with a 2-1 victory.

Clydach Wasps A v PILCs

The second team head up to fortress Llanelly Hill, looking to add to the clubs 100% record on the ground this season, as they welcome Pontypool's PILCs. With the first teams big cup match maybe seeing a pull on a player or two from the last time out, they will be looking to extend their advantage at the top of the table. The visitors currently sit in third, four points shy of the seconds after a 3-3 draw against Blaenavon last time out. With the weather sure to be testing it should be be an interesting and tricky tie.

Prescoed v Clydach Wasps B

The third team face a return to Prescoed so soon following the mauling they recieved earlier in the month in a change to the originally published fixture. Last time out was a big fillip for the side and it should see a full team look to prove a point to the league leaders. The Prescoed pitch does tend to fall victim to the weather quite often, so it will be touch and go if it can withstand the forecasted rainfall.
