Chepstow Town v Clydach Wasps

The first team travel to Larkfield's to take on another of the teams looking to take the title. Chepstow currently sit in second place, four points shy of Treowen but having played two games more. That puts the hosts seven points ahead of us but we have four games in hand. Last week saw Town pick up a useful 3-0 victory at home to Blaenavon Blues and will be looking to not only put themselves in with a big shout for the league trophy but also a return to Welsh League football. The Wasps will be looking to push on from what was ultimately a disappointing draw with Abercarn last week, and with hopefully a couple of last weeks missing players returning, will be looking to get a positive result. If the weather allows it, everything points to a hard fought, top of the table clash. The two sides drew 2-2 at the Rec back in December and it would be no suprise to see a similarly close game this time around.

Sebastapol v Clydach Wasps B

The second team are also on their travels, visiting Sebastapol's Alexandra Road ground. The team will be in good spirits after last weeks battling victory, though they will be looking to put in a better performance this time around, as long as the small and usually muddy host pitch allows. The home side currently sit eleventh in the league and picked up a creditable 2-0 away victory at Cwmffrwdoer last time out. The Wasps came away with a 5-1 win in the return match back in October, and a similar result could see them finish the month with a nine point lead.
