Normally at this time of the week, this would be a look ahead to the upcoming games this Saturday. The arctic conditions though make it exceedingly unlikely we will see any action again this week. The First team should be travelling to Sudbrook Cricket Club for their Gwent Amateur Cup clash. If any of our games are to go ahead this is the one that has the most chance, though even if the forecasted snow misses the ground, the dropping temperatures could see the pitch frozen. The Second and Third teams are due to face Mardy and Usk Town B respectively, but with both Clydach and Llanelly Hill Recs under a foot of snow, both could be cancelled at any time. With no games now in a month, and limited training, it could be some very rusty players taking to the field once the thaw sets in.
