Mardy v Clydach Wasps

This rearranged game has now been moved to an away game, allowing all three sides games to go ahead this Saturday. The Wasps travel to bottom of the table Mardy looking to play themselves into a bit of form before next weeks huge game. With match practise being in short supply recently, plus a match against opposition who belied their league position to oust us from the County Motors Cup early in the season, and are always up for this fairly local derby. Kris Lewis is still to see out the remainder of his ban, while the rest of the squad should be fit and raring to go.

Clydach Wasps A v Goytre

The seconds look to carry on last weeks performance as they welcome title rivals Goytre to the Rec. The score is already 1-1 in games this season; Goytre picking up the three points at Plough Road, while the seconds progressed when the two met in the Cup. Nick Brown starts a three match suspension following last weeks red card, but the rest of the squad should remain unchanged. The visitors suffered a shock defeat to Sebastapol last week and will be eager to make up lost ground. This could be one of the games that determines the destination of the title.

Clydach Wasps B v Trevethin

The third team return to Llanelly Hill for the first time this year and welcome Trevethin as the push for second place continues. No changes are expected to the squad that returned from Pontypool last week with three points and will be looking at using home advantage against a side they have already knocked from the Open Cup and have beaten home and away in the league. The visitors usually put up a fight though, they currently sit bottom but one, but picked up a victory away to Usk last time out.
