For the first time this season the clubs three sides will be in action this saturday. The firsts travel to Mardy Fields for the first round of the County Motors Cup. Matches against Mardy are rarely easy, and with the added spice of a place in the next round of the cup up for grabs this game should be no different, regardless of league form. Mardy have struggled a little so far this season but have recorded a good victory away to Undy Athletic and will certainly be ready for our visit.

The seconds travel to Woodfield Road to take on New Inn. Although without captain Kyle Cheshire for the match they welcome back a couple of players who missed the midweek Govilon victory. Spirits will be high after the rousing comeback and they'll be confident of another good performance.

The thirds are the only side at home this week, welcoming Llanarth to the Recreation Ground. Both teams kicked off the season with midweek victories; us at Pontypool and Llanarth at Usk, both by a 2-1 scoreline. The visitors have struggled in the last couple of seasons, but there'll be no room for complacency so early in the season.
