Still Unbeaten

Posted by Gareth Weed on Sunday, August 30, 2015,
The first team returned from Mardy Park with another point after a third successive draw. Jace Williams bagged his fourth of the season but the hosts equalised through former Wasps junior player Lewis Welch to take a share of the spoils. Whilst disappointed that a below strength team couldn't hold out for all three points, games against Mardy are never simple, and at least the unbeaten start to the season continues.

A Hard Earned Point

With chances at both ends from the start, the hosts were indebted to an outstanding double save from Dai Pearce to keep the scores level, before Jordan Jones opened the scoring by prodding home a Ben Gifford cross. Coed Eva equalised with a smart finish of their own after twenty minutes, and the rest of the first half flew by as both sides attacked a...

The first team progressed to the Second Round of the FAW Trophy with a far from convincing 3-1 victory over Caerphilly's Dynamo Aber. All three goals came from the boot of Matthew Edward, the second two in either period of extra time.
