Clydach Wasps V Hay St Mary's

After last weeks washout, we try again with the Fourth Round of the FAW Trophy. With it now being a fortnight since the last game it will need a big effort from the boys to put in a good performance and get the victory required over our Mid Wales visitors. Near neighbours Blaeanavon Blues also feaure in the Trophy this weekend, as they entertain Ton & Gelli. Hopefully the wind and rain will abait enough to see both Gwent sides progress.

With the weather claiming all three of the clubs games this weekend, that should see a change to next weeks schedule. The first teams FAW Trophy game should now be played next saturday, meaning the league game against Mardy being moved to later in the season. This will be confirmed a.s.a.p.

The next round of the FAW Trophy sees a familiar face return to the Rec, as former Wasp Chris Baynton brings his Mid Wales League charges for an eagerly awaited game. After last weeks enforced break the firsts will be looking to carry on from the big victory over RTB's. RTB Ebbw Vale v Clydach Wasps (Gwent Amateur Cup)

The first team start their Amateur Cup campaign with a visit to Eugene Cross Park, to take on Second Division RTB. The team should pick itself following last weeks victory, but things are never that simple, especially when it comes to player availability.
